WATERSKI & WAKEBOARD SESSION INFO
We’re excited to have you join us for an adaptive waterski/ wakeboard session! This page should give you all the information you need, but please ask if you have any other questions.
There will be a number of people with disabilities on the session, supported by a fantastic team of volunteers. Some participants will be completely new to the sport, while others will have attended previous camps and be looking to build on their skills and confidence.
Waterskiing & Wakeboarding
We aim to introduce you to the sport of waterskiing and/ or wakeboarding, and to help you progress. We will set you up with suitable adaptive equipment based on your individual needs and disability.
To start with, you will be supported experienced instructors, either in the water with you or close by in the boat. Each method is designed to provide stability and help with balance. As you progress, we will reduce the level of support.
Usually, people book 2 ski sets each (10-15 mins each set). We’ll schedule both your ski sets relatively close together to prevent you getting too cold in-between. Specific dates/ times will be discussed prior to your arrival.
