STAND UP FOR ACCESS ADVENTURES
Paddleboard relay race!

Location:  Edge Adaptive Sports Centre, Staines

Thurs 19 September 2024 (from 4 – 8pm)​

 

Join us for our brand new paddleboarding fundraising event! Access Adventures delivers life-changing adaptive adventure sports for people with disabilities.

​

A brilliant opportunity to spend quality time outdoors with friends and colleagues, networking with like-minded individuals, businesses or potential clients. Plus, raise funds for our fantastic charity!

No equipment or experience is needed. (Fancy dress actively encouraged!)

The Race

​

• Each team consists of 4 members

• No experience is necessary (but it might help to paddle your way to victory!)

• Compete in a knockout style relay in a bid to win the trophy

• 4 laps of 200m course with each team member to compete a lap per race

Costs

​

• Registration is £100 per team + fundraising, which can be paid for by your employer or as individuals

• After you’ve registered, an invoice will be sent via email

• We ask every team to fundraise a further £300 or more in sponsorship

• After you register, we’ll be in touch to help you set up your JustGiving page and start raising money for Access Adventures

• Or if you don’t want to fundraise and just want to take part then registration is £600

16:45 – Safety briefing
17:00 – Racing begins
19:00 – Racing Finishes
19:15 – Prize-giving
19:30 – BBQ & social
