LAND KITING SESSION INFO
We’re excited to have you join us for the land kiting session in Poole! This page should give you all the information you need for the event, but please ask if you have any other questions.
There will be around 6 participants with physical disabilities, supported by several fantastic volunteers and kite instructors. Access Adventures staff will also be there to welcome you.
This is an introduction to powerkiting, led by experienced instructors from Easyriders and the British Kitesports Association. You’ll cover topics such as kite safety, understanding wind conditions, equipment basics, kite setup, launching and landing, and fundamental powerkite flying techniques.
We’ll start with static land-based skills, and some participants may progress to using the adapted kite buggy.
