What We Do
Access Adventures is a registered charity delivering life-changing adaptive adventure sports. Our services are designed to challenge expectations and increase confidence for people with disabilities.
Stories from our participants illustrate that challenging their expectations in a supportive environment can bring an incredible sense of achievement. There is also an element of community & fun running through everything we do.

Access Adventures ran it's first camp in May 2015 and was registered with the Charity Commission in Aug 2015. The foundations for the British Disabled Waterski & Wakeboard Association (BDWWA) were laid in on 1st July 1978. The two organisations merged in 2020, expanding the opportunities available.

Access Adventures now host regular camps and sessions, offering the opportunity to try waterskiing, wakeboarding, alpine skiing, kiting, biking and paddlesports.

We're based at Edge Adaptive Sports Centre near Staines, but also have a Yorkshire & Central team running additional adaptive waterski & wakeboard sessions.

We try to be as inclusive as possible, but there are some limitations to ensure individuals can participate safely and successfully.
