We are now able to welcome independent waterskiers and wakeboarders back to Heron lake!


Changes to our operating procedures have been made in order to comply with the regulations and keep everyone safe.


Please read the information below and get in touch if you have any questions/ concerns. We hope to expand our services soon and are continuing to assess the situation.

We do not enjoy having to put these necessary restrictions in place, please help us stick to them.



Operating procedures as a result of Covid-19:  


  • Independent skiers/ riders only at the moment due to social distancing regulations

  • We will be limiting the number of skiers on site by operating a pre-booking & payment system

  • No skiers to arrive without a booking

  • Membership renewal form or waiver must be completed online before arrival

  • The security entrance gate will be closed, please bring gloves or antiseptic gel to use before and after touching the keypad

  • You must arrive on-site no more than 30 mins before your booked session and leave as soon as possible after your session

  • The clubhouse is only open for skiers to access the toilets/ changing rooms. Please only use these if necessary

  • All personal belongings should be kept outside the clubhouse

  • If you need assistance getting ready for your session, please bring a household member with you

  • Only one spectator can accompany you

  • Please stay within your skill level to avoid unnecessary risk of injury

  • Social distancing must be maintained at all times, reminder signs will be displayed

  • Any club equipment borrowed will be wiped down before and after use

  • No wetsuit/ glove hire at this stage (get in touch if you don't have your own)

  • Hand sanitiser will be available on the jetty. Hand washing station available outside and reminder signage in place

  • If you want to come and enjoy just being by the lake, please avoid scheduled ski times to help minimise numbers on-site
  • Anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 should not attend

  • Anyone who is at an increased risk due to underlying health conditions should not attend
