SUPERHERO TRI - Fundraising event

Where: Dorney Lake, Windsor

When: 15 Aug 2020 *cancelled

"It’s big. It’s bold. It’s gutsy. It’s the UK’s one and only disability sport event for the everyday Superhero and their family and friends!"

Come and join us for this fantastic event!

Team up with family and friends to take on a stage each of a Superhero Tri challenge – that’s a swim, a bike and a push/run. Please see below for your choice of distances. Anyone can enter, as long as there’s at least one person with a disability per team. You can also bring a ‘Sidekick’ to push, guide or simply accompany any member of your team around the course if you wish.

Distances:

Sprint:    Swim 150m, Bike 3k, Push/Run 1km

Half Tri:  Swim 400m, Bike 10k, Push/Run 2.5km

Full Tri:   Swim 750m, Bike 20k, Push/Run 5k

You don’t have to come to us with a fully formed team. Get in touch and we’ll match you up with other teammates for an unforgettable day out.

What’s more, there will be 20 Celebrity Team Captains taking part on the day, from TV personalities to Paralympians, so come and mingle with some Superhero superstars!

Join one of our Access Adventures Superhero teams!

Anything goes: what’s brilliant about Superhero Tri is that there are no cut-off times and you can bring any kind of equipment you might need to help you complete the challenge, from flippers and floats in the water to electric and day chairs on the bike and push/run stages.

Dorney Lake’s waters are clean and calm, and the bike and push/run courses are on closed, level, tarmacked roads and pathways. Where there’s a will there’s a way!

Great family day out

The challenges are only the beginning. Set in 450 acres of spectacular parkland, everyone at this unique event is in for a real treat. There’ll be all kinds of entertainment and refreshments for Superheroes and spectators big and small. Plus parking is free of charge.
