Wye Adventure camp
Location: Forest of Dean, Wye Valley
Dates: 2019 TBC
Accommodation: Camping, shared tents (max 4 per tent), en-suite basic bathroom facilities
Experience: None required
In partnership with Roughriderz
Details: Push yourself out of your comfort zone with our Forest of Dean Adventure camp. Enjoy 2 days of kayaking on the beautiful River Wye, including some intro-level white water paddling. Then a day of downhill biking in the rugged Forest of Dean. We're working with Rough Riderz for those needing seated 4-wheeled gravity bikes and Pedalabikeaway for all other biking requirements. Please note: good grip is essential for the 4-wheeled gravity bikes.
All these activities are right on the doorstep of our unique accommodation - a magical campsite of eco-domes. Dinner on the deck, wood stoves to heat the water, star gazing. All the domes & bathrooms are reasonably accessible, good upper-body strength or a willingness to accept help is needed to push around the site. If you're looking for hospital-grade accessibility, then this is not the camp for you!
