SAFEGUARDING POLICY - DBS

As part of our safeguarding process we ask all our volunteers to have an up to date enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate.

DBS checks are available free of charge for our volunteers through the governing body, British Waterski & Wakeboard.

If you are not already a BWSW member and your only involvement in the sport is in the capacity of volunteering with us, you can join for the reduced rate of £10 here

DBS application process for BWSW members:

  • Volunteer completes the online DBS application form

  • BWSW post a DBS form to you, to be completed in black ink

  • Bring your ID docs (x3) to us to be checked, copied and signed

  • Send your form and signed copies of your ID docs to BWSW
